The last feast among God's annually appointed ones, the Feast of Tabernacles began at the Churches of God all over the world from September 30 (July 15 by the sacred year), and continued for 7 days.

As all the annual feasts of God originated in the history of Exodus, so does the Feast of Tabernacles. When Moses came down from the mountain with the Ten Commandments a second time, he began to build the tabernacle to keep the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments and the Israelites brought free will offerings for the making of the tabernacle. The Feast of Tabernacles was appointed to celebrate this historical event. Spiritually, God's children are represented as the heavenly temple's materials, so the prophecy about the Feast of Tabernacles is to be fulfilled by completing the heavenly Jerusalem Temple with the 144000 children of God.

On the first day of the Feast (September 30), Mother prayed that Her children would

diligently gather the wheat as faithful harvesters and prepare oil along with their lamps to meet Christ coming on an unexpected day. And Mother also prayed the promised Holy Spirit of the latter rain would be poured upon God's children abundantly through the Feast.

Joo Cheol Kim the Chief Pastor emphasized the fact that we are materials of the heavenly temple revealing God's glory and the 'seeds of God.' "As a seed of a plant grows, it reveals the plant's character and bears the same fruit of the plant. Like this, we are the seeds of God. So we should reveal God's holy character and His glory, and bear fruit resembling God," he said.

For 7 days, the children of God more devoted themselves to the preaching and asked the Holy Spirit of the latter rain through the early morning and evening services so that they might be born again in the likeness of God and bear abundant fruit of the Spirit.

On the last and the greatest day (October 7), Mother commended all the members who had prayed to find the lost brothers and sistersfrom men who came onto God despite the fatigue from their job, to children who put together their little hands before God. Mother prayed to Father all the children would receive the Holy Spirit of the latter rain in abundance. And at the last worship service of the Feast, Mother Herself gave the word of the living water, under the title of "Those who believe the word of prophecy will make themselves ready."

Emphasizing that on the Feast of Tabernacles God's children should receive the Holy Spirit to complete the building of the heavenly temple, Mother told them to be wise children who are awakened and prepare for the kingdom, blowing the gospel trumpet loudly. And She taught them that those who believed the word of prophecy were blessed, through the examples of Noah and Abraham.

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. As for Abraham, even when God's word of promise did not seem to be realistic, he followed God wherever He led him and overcame all trials, so that he was blessed to be called 'the father in faith,' 'the father of many nations.' Mother emphasized again that the children of God are to have such faith in the word of prophecy and lead many souls to the fortified city Zion with earnest hearts.

Getting new strength from the water of life springing from Jerusalem, all the members realized the word, "Without faith it is impossible to please God," and were determined to preach the gospel more diligently to the nations with faith which is born again of the Holy Spirit.

During the Feast of Autumn, Zion's people went abroad in accordance with the prophecy of the Bible. And many glad news were daily delivered to the New Jerusalem Temple that many nations received the truth, especially in Asia and Oceania. The kingdom of heaven is drawing near, this autumn.
