In May, called “Family Month” in Korea, the Church of God held a campaign with the motto, “Deliver the Heart of Love to Parents.” This campaign motivated the members to express their thanks to their parents who bore and raised them, giving them some gifts along with love in their hearts.

In addition to this, the members of the Church of God held a meaningful event to express their thanks to their heavenly Parents, who created their souls and raise them, along with their love and filial piety toward Them. On May 13, the 6th Go&Come Jerusalem Overseas Mission Launching Ceremony was held at the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute. It rained the previous day, and the land was full of vitality and a fresh green fragrance filled the air. The Ceremony was attended by over 10,000 members, including about 4,000 members who had a strong desire to preach overseas in obedience to the heavenly will—“Save the Whole World.”

Around 12p.m., the worship service began. Mother thanked Father for allowing Her children to realize that they are all members of the heavenly family, through His boundless love and sacrifice. She prayed for Her children that they would please God by quickly accom-plishing the gospel through unity—those in Korea support those preaching overseas and those overseas encourage those preaching in Korea by conveying lots of gracious news. Also, Mother prayed for the Overseas Mission, asking Father to send down the blessing of the Holy Spirit upon Her children who had a fervent desire to preach overseas and were preparing for departure. After Mother’s prayer, the Choir magnificently performed a song of praise to Jerusalem Mother for Her salvation. It resounded through the hall and inspired the participants to be even more thankful to their heavenly Parents.

Chief Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim emphasized the “Teachings of Mother” while delivering his sermon. He said, “Our labor for the gospel is in vain unless we are born again through love,” expecting that the great work of saving the world will be graciously accomplished if all the members preach the gospel with an earnest mind to save one soul and with a loving heart as Mother has taught. He read the Teachings of Mother once more, and said, “Let’s always tie the Teachings of Mother as symbols on our hands and bind them on our foreheads, and put them into practice. This will be the best present for our heavenly Father and Mother.”

At the second part of the event, the 6th Go&Come Jerusalem Overseas Mission Launching Ceremony and various perfor-mances were held to show gratitude to heavenly Parents. Chief Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim read a letter of thanks to Mother on behalf of all the heavenly children. Through the letter, he inspired the members to practice the Teachings of Mother, giving up an au-thoritative attitude and being united in love as God’s children, just as the earth was made round, without top or bottom, according to the providence of God. Being emotionally moved, the members were determined to be born again as God’s beautiful children, truly pleasing to the heavenly Mother. And the Choir, consisting of over 150 overseers, performed the song “The Bright, Heavenly Way” in praise of the Father who silently walked the path of suffering to open the bright, heavenly way for His children with love.

After that, the participants watched a video, which gave them a vision for preaching overseas and inspired their enthusiasm for world evangelism even more. Watching the overseas members reclaiming a vast barren land for the gospel with an untiring enthusiasm and challenging spirit, without being content with their present situation, the members obtained lots of grace and realization.
After the video presentation, a musical play was performed, which was based on the prophecies of Revelation concerning the heavenly Mother who came to save Her children from heaven who were in a desperate crisis. In the play, the children of heaven sang a song of victory after destroying the spiritual Babylon with the help of heavenly Mother, and went out into all the nations of the world, singing the praise of Mother’s glory. Watching the play, the participants gave a big round of applause.

At the end of the second part of the event, the 6th Go&Come Jerusalem Overseas Mission Launching Ceremony was held. 300 members, as representatives of those who volunteered to preach overseas, entered gallantly into the hall, holding pickets en-graved with the names of the countries they volunteered to preach in and engraved with their resolutions as well. Through the declaration of departure, they manifested their great ambition and resolution to proclaim the salvation of the Spirit and the Bride to all the nations of the world.

Mother was pleased with the faith and courage of Her children who volunteered to preach overseas in obedience to the will of God. She told them to pray to Father a lot from the beginning of preaching, and encouraged them to bear the fruit of love abundantly by leading the people of the world to the refuge of salvation where they would receive the seal of God and have hope for heaven.

For the third part of the event, Overseas Mission Exhibition was held at the outdoor sports area of the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute. The exhibition attracted a great deal of interest from the members. 36 booths for 36 countries were installed; each booth introduced mission areas in each country through its traditional costumes and dances, and provided lots of information on the country—its characteristics, culture, transportation information, things to be cautious of, prospects for preaching there and much more, through screen-projected images and pamphlets. The members visited not only the booth for the country which they were interested in, but also many other booths, gathering information on each country and listening to those who had a short-term overseas mission experience before. They drew up blueprint for preaching overseas.

Watching the exhibition, the members showed their desire, saying, “We continually thought about preaching overseas, but we didn’t have enough information. Today, we are very delighted to have obtained specific information through the exhibition. We’d like to quickly go out into the world and par-ticipate in seeking our loving heavenly family members overseas.

Through the event, the members were more thankful to God for giving them the oppor-tunity to realize their dream of preaching overseas, and kept in mind again that they should carry out the overseas mission with love above everything else.

With a desire to please God by quickly ac-complishing world mission, the members are now in a hurry preparing to go into all nations, filled with Mother’s love which they will preach to the whole world.
