"On December 29, 2003, I went to Nampo-dong to buy a digital camera that I would need in New Zealand. After purchasing one after my fancy, I was going with my senior to have a lunch. An old men called me from behind.
He had his arm in bandages and was pushing a cart filled with junk stuffs. He came over to me and asked if I could fix his flat tire. I, without hesitation, filled the tire with air and the senior asked me again if I could pull the cart over to a fish market. I decided to help him and pushed his cart into the market. I helped him unload the junks from the cart and arranged them in order. I felt happy in the thought of being able to help an elderly in need and glorify God through this small help.
However, he again gave me a letter and asked me to hand it over to an old lady.
It was a love letter. He said he once had a time of my age and that though he was now in his 60's, his heart was as young as a 20 year old youth.
I thought it was a queer request. But I went to the store the senior told me and gave the letter to the woman. Then she asked me to read it for her, saying she has deem eyes. I read it for her and she said she would give me fish as a token of gratitude and took me to a parking lot.
As soon as I entered the place, I saw cameras and people congratulating me with holding up a placard reading, 'The Best Citizen.' I was quite at a loss what to do. I only gave all the glory to God.

Now I thank God for giving me such a precious blessing just three days before leaving for New Zealand. All I did was following what our heavenly Mother told me to do: "Treat every person equally in a humble manner. Through the prize, God showed me that when we obey God's words He will give us blessing.
Even when I go to New Zealand, I will do my best with a humble heart and glorify Father Ahnsahnghong and heavenly Mother."

Another story of a member doing good deeds before men and glorifying God was aired on the KBS 2TV program called 'Main Center for Making a Good Country.'
In March, 2003 a member of the Church of God was on his way for a delivery and saw a harassed-woman driver who's car was stuck in the road side. The Church member pulled up her car with a wire and replaced the flat tire with a new one.
The driver wanted to compensate him but he strongly refused. However, she couldn't forget the man's help and called KBS in order to express her gratitude. Hiding the cameras, the broadcasting station tested him whether he was really kind by sending him a middle school student and an senior. He helped the student and the senior as if it was his duty and was nominated as one of the kindest citizens.
The power moving the world is a small practice of love.
From a small thing, we should practice God's teachings and glorify Him over the whole nations.
