In July, the blessing of the dedication of the Churches continued. On July 3, the first worship day of the month, the Seosan Church was dedicated to God. On this day, over 800 members, including those who came from neighboring Zions to congratulate on the dedication, attended the service, filling up the main worship hall with 500 seats, the fellowship room, and even the cafeteria.
Mother gave thanks in prayer to Father for granting the large temple to His children who put their efforts to preach the gospel despite many difficulties in a small place for a long time, and She was pleased with the growth of the Seosan Church that had just moved into a big and beautiful temple. And She also asked them to produce many gospel workers, saying, “We are receiving requests to enlarge the temples and to send many more workers from every
part of the world.”
General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol expressed his gratitude to the workers involved in the construction and the Church members who put so much effort to help build the Seosan Church in a short period of time. Then he said with
emphasis, “Our Church of God is now growing at an alarming speed in all parts of the world, including Seosan. It is because ‘God Mother’ is with us.” After that, he explained, “The Bible—from the first chapter of Genesis to the last chapter of Revelation—testifies to God the Mother. The principle that all living things receive life through their mothers is also evidence that we can receive our spiritual life through the Mother of our spirits.” And he urged the members, saying, “Let’s preach eternal life and happiness from Heavenly Mother to the souls who are still wandering to find Mother.”
The Seosan Church located in Dongmun-dong, Seosan, has a modern and unique appearance, made of metal; it has three stories above ground and one underground. Until being granted the new temple by God’s grace, the Church members had no time to rest because they were so busy furnishing the new big temple and boasting about God and the Church here and there. Even though they worked so hard, they still said, “We have been lacking in zeal up until now. From now on, we will boast much more about God the Mother and display Mother’s love through our good deeds more diligently.” Saying that, they expressed their hope that the Church of God in Seosan would be a nest full of the souls yearning for Mother.
