Prophets Who Embrace God, the Universe, in Their Hearts

The student members bore abundant fruits through the “2010 Summer Student Camp for Ten Talents” held during their vacation, and the sweet fragrances of Zion about the youth students, who are like the dew of the dawn, were spreading throughout the country. To help keep this fervor for the gospel alive, the “2010 Summer Student Camp Awards Ceremony” was held at the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute on August 22. Over 9,000 youth group members and their teachers attended the awards ceremony and engraved deep in their hearts their dreams and resolutions for the gospel.

Through the commemoration service, Mother commended the students who had shed their precious sweat in the hot weather and was pleased with their faith that enabled them to take part in the gospel work. Mother also reminded them of the glorious heavenly kingdom where eternal life and happiness last forever, and planted the hope for heaven in their hearts, saying, “You’ve realized Christ—the most valuable treasure. So, you should perform your duties as God’s children who will receive the heavenly inheritance—the most valuable thing, rather than following the wrong culture of this world like Internet games, so that you can enter the beautiful kingdom of heaven where innumerable galaxies are spread throughout the infinite universe” (Mt 13:44; Col 2:2-3; 1 Co 2:9).

General Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim said, “Adolescence is the most important period in a person’s life. It is very important to choose the right role model for your future.” Saying that, he urge the students to make a future without regrets by setting Elohim as their role model and trying to resemble Them in every way—even in Their spirit, in addition to having a perspective broad enough to embrace the universe.

After the worship service, the members watched a video showing the current gospel status in North America and also a video containing the stories of the students. They were surprised and amazed to see how rapidly the truth about Heavenly Mother was spreading at the center of the world. Being proud of the truth of the new covenant, they fostered their dreams for world evangelism. The next video titled “Our Hope Is More Beautiful Than the Dream of the World” deeply touched the hearts of the students by candidly depicting the stories of the student members who had been reborn as children of faith from immature ones, along with their beautiful hopes and resolutions to go to heaven together with their friends.

Then the awards ceremony began. The youth groups of six branch Churches, which had produced abundant fruits by participating in the Ten Talent Movement with one mind, received certificates of commendation and trophies from Mother. The youth group teachers of the Churches that received the awards gave thanks and glory to God for awakening the students, saying, “The students had not fully realized the Ten Talent Mission, but as they gained confidence in the gospel through this camp, they started to bear fruit, being united with one another and praying together. Now they realize that the Ten Talent Movement is the love of Mother who wants us to receive the blessings of heaven and to experience the joy of saving souls, and they are joyfully endeavoring to gain many more talents.”

After the awards ceremony, Mother blessed the students, saying, “As students, you’ve learned the greatest knowledge—the knowledge of God—and the best studies to save souls. So, do not conform to the pattern of this wicked world, but obey your parents and teachers while studying hard, following the teachings of God. Set a good example for people around you by doing what is good wherever you are—in your homes, schools and communities, so you can accomplish the Ten Talent Mission.” By saying that, Mother hoped that every drop of their sweat and efforts would bring forth abundant heavenly rewards.

General Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim also encouraged the students by saying, “Take pride in the Church of God which God established and the apostles attended, the Church that accomplishes the gospel work prosperously according to the prophecies. As prophets like the dew of the dawn, preach the gospel boldly with courage like that of David.”

Although the students are very young and they may look immature in the way they speak and act, they are already prophets with firm faith who fully resemble God, as they state their ambitious desire, “We are preaching Heavenly Mother to the whole world, so our gospel is truly amazing. We have to deliver this wonderful truth confidently to our friends and teachers as well. Throughout our remaining semesters, we will continue to preach the Word while studying hard, so we will surely accomplish the Ten Talent Mission.”
