On April 24, over 2,000 ambitious young adults competed their ability to preach the truth in Okcheon Training Institute. It was 'The 2nd Bible Preaching Event 2005,' held following 'The 1st Bible Preaching Event' for the male adults in February. The main members of this event were the young men and women like the dew, who are going to lead the gospel.

On April 17, the preliminary test was held in each Church, and the young members who passed the preliminary attended the main event. They showed their preaching ability to the full that they had advanced by continuous practicing even while being busy studying at school and working. It was clear that the young men and women were the main leaders of the gospel in the age of the last prophecy.

The young members had lunch on the ground or on the grass before the event began. They looked very excited like children who are on a picnic. However, a kind of tension was also shown when they practiced continually, holding books in their hands. Vitality was also felt from them as they were getting ready for the event graciously under the sunny and bright weather God allowed. The young preachers were as lively as the freshness of April.

At 1 p.m., before the main event began, Mother prayed to Father, "Please give Your young fellow workers the boldness and bravery with which David and Joshua did not submit to the giant Goliath and the people of Jericho, and fervor and courage with which Paul could preach the gospel in every kind of hardship. And give them also strong faith, so that they can become the great workers to accomplish the mission of the gospel."

Mother also said, "In the time of youth there are a lot of worldly temptations. However, young people also have the privilege which is called 'freedom and passion.' You can burn your youthfulness for the dream, hope and the future. I hope you all will become faithful and good sons and daughters who do not conform to the pattern of this world but overcome all the temptations with discretion, faith and courage. I also hope you will have the passion for the gospel and the challenging spirit for heaven. Run the race, looking forward only to the blessings from God. Put on the full armor of God's word. Be the heros of the prophecy in the last age who save the world, by studying the words of God diligently."

The young men shouted, 'Amen,' for Mother's teaching, and pledged themselves to become couriers who preach the truth more boldly and the leaders of the gospel to save mankind.

All the young members were grouped into 265 teams. After shouting, "We can do it!" they started to demonstrate their preaching with confidence. The event place was soon filled with the fervor of the young men and women preaching boldly. Their cheeks were flushed by their heat for the gospel.

The preachers and the listeners were all so serious that it even seemed to be an actual preaching scene. It was also impressive to see the attendants encouraging the preachers by clapping who did their best to preach. Everyone could feel that this event was not for preaching only with their lips, but for giving the young workers faith and courage and making them realize the value of the gospel.

While the marking was proceeding, two video tapes were shown to them. One was about heavenly Father's great sacrifice; they realized the love of Father again from their deep hearts. And the other was about the activities of the Church of God members who spread smile, hope, delight and love to the whole world with the love of the Christ; through it they felt proud of the Church, and also saw the fire of the gospel spreading to the whole world very quickly and bore in their minds their dream and vision that they themselves would complete the prophecies written in the Bible.

This day, 20 awardees were selected. At first, it was planned to award 15 members; but according to God's will to award more young members, 20 awardees were chosen. When the awardees received the awards, they couldn't conceal their joy with a great smile on their faces. Saying, "It is thankful enough that God allowed me to be here, but God also awarded me, I give great thanks to God." They showed their strong will and resolution, "I know God gives me this award so that I may try harder. I will do my best to be suitable for the value of this award by bearing fruit."

Not every young member could be awarded, but each of them was given a bunch of flowers of the Holy Spirit with a title, 'Excellent Worker of the Gospel.' They were determined to do their best to stand high as the heros of the prophecy, 'Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy majesty, from the womb of the dawn you will receive the dew of your youth (Ps 110:3).

The young men and women are expected to put on the full armor of God's word, and advance for the world mission with the dream, passions, will, faith, courage, boldness and the indomitable challenging spirit.
