The staff members of the Church of God Head Office, who are responsible for many things for the gospel's sake in obedience to the will of God, took the written and preaching tests on the 12th floor of the WMC building. The event, consisting of a written test, worship service and a preaching (oral) test, is held the third week of every month. The WMC staff members participate positively in this event. They try their best to fully arm themselves with the word of God and to faithfully carry out the task entrusted to them, keeping in mind the direction of the gospel.

The staff members arrived early in the morning, looking a little nervous. At 9a.m. they prayed devoutly to God. As soon as prayer time was over, they took the written test consisting of questions from the Book of Truth. From start to finish they focused all their attention on writing down their answers. After handing in their answer sheets, they prepared for worship.

At 10a.m. the worship service began with Mother's prayer of blessing. Mother complimented the staff members on their labors for the gospel, and delivered the fragrance of Zion about the overseas members. She said that even though they were new comers, they all had a burning faith, understood Christ and were growing quickly to become gospel workers. The news about the overseas brothers and sisters deeply touched the hearts of the staff members and inspired them to commit themselves to work harder for the gospel.

Mother continually encouraged the members, saying, Because of your tireless efforts behind the scenes, the flames of the gospel are rapidly spreading throughout the world. She added, Always be content and rejoice in the blessings God has given you and run the race of the gospel, being united in heart and mind. Run towards the heavenly goal with all your strength, so that you may all receive rewards in heaven.

Shortly after the service, the preaching test was held. The members took the test in groups?each group consisting of five people. The hall resounded with the loud and sonorous voices of the members who preached God's word with confidence.

After finishing the test at noon, the members went back to their jobs. They said they were so happy to be able to attend this meeting every month. The exam is a little stressful, but it is a good wake-up call that makes us alert always. We give thanks to Mother for giving us comfort and strength with which we can work hard for another month. They were determined to keep the words of life Mother gave them this day and to put them into practice without fail.

Now, the Head Office of the Church of God is busy preparing to meet the overseas members who stream to Zion according to the prophecies about world evangelism. The staff members study phone English in the morning before work and in the afternoon after lunch. They take the test of conversational English in order to prepare themselves to promptly respond to phone calls from overseas members.

They try to keep in step with God's prophecies by doing small things with all their heart and mind. Watching them, we can picture the great future of the gospel which God is to fulfill.
